About GENESIS Professional OrganizersThe mission of GPO is to help clients eliminate clutter and regain a
positive working or living environment to increase efficiency, productivity,
and stress-reduction throughout every day life. We envision a peaceful
future for our clients that includes the ability to focus and be creative
in a space that is harmonious with the environment and each persons' needs. Genesis Professional Organizers (GPO) was launched in 2006 by entrepreneur Dina Martin. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Communications. Dina has enjoyed a professional career in the areas of non-profit management, community development, public relations and marketing. She also has vast experience in the areas of volunteer management as well as training/development facilitation in the areas of leadership development, team-building, and strategic planning. The common denominator that brought her success in each of these venues was her capacity to organize people and information in a competent and efficient manner. Dina enjoys witnessing the relief and satisfaction evident on the faces
of clients when projects are complete. When they see the end result of
a vision that has taken hard work to accomplish, everyone is proud of
their efforts and excited about the productivity and efficiency their
new spaces will bring them. It is easy to look to a bright future when
so much stress is eliminated from a work or living environment. Dina is
good at establishing positive working relationships with her clients because
she realizes that the trust of privacy and the protection of client confidentiality
are priorities. She is a proud member of The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and active at the local level in the NAPO Houston Chapter. Dina has served on the Board of Directors of NAPO Houston for the last three years. She was originally on the Executive Committee as Secretary, and currently serves as the Chapter's Professional Development Director. Dina is also a member of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD), an organization who's mission it is to benefit people affected by chronic disorganization. The NSGCD explores, develops and communicates information, organizing techniques and solutions to professional organizers, related professionals and the public. Mrs. Martin is an active member in the Houston Region of the Leadership Texas Alumnae Association, as well as the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in her professional career she was presented with the Zontian of the Year Award for outstanding contributions and recognition of professional success that furthers the status of Women for the Zonta Club. Additionally, she has been Certified as a Professional Services Marketer by the Society for Marketing Professional Services. She and her husband are members of The Woodlands United Methodist Church, and she also enthusiastically volunteers with Montgomery Pet Partners, a pet therapy and literacy program. Genesis Professional Organizers maintains Professional Liability Insurance
through Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company. |
